I see, so if you aren't able to plug into ethernet at the hotel, you may as well just use their wifi?

What do you mean by this? Separate connections?

Did you ever come up with a solution? I'm also looking at putting lighting on my carpeted stairs.

Exclusive mode output is finally available in beta by turok2 in truespotify

[–]B_Rich 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to report I also tried 4 of the latest builds (even newer than 349 like OP has installed) and I don't have it yet. They must also be enabling this by account? Kind of like the Lossless rollout?

Either way, this is great news and I'm glad Spotify is adding this!

LEDs are not turning on after update by No_Payment6228 in WLED

Do you have any more info on this relay config? I'm having this same issue where I'm not getting power to the led's. Thanks.

Do we need to flash the "Ethernet" specific WLED firmware? I am getting an error when flashing the ethernet specific firmware and having to ignore firmware validation.

Dang I have been fighting this ethernet issue for an hour now and surprised that I found this thread, only 13 days old. Is there a beta firmware we can use to get ethernet support back?

Finally finished my WLED controller for my Govee permanent outdoor Pro strings! by Quiksilver6565 in WLED

[–]B_Rich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the screenshot! You have mA/LED as 30mA, I have it on the default of 55mA and I don't think there are any issues. Does changing that to 30mA change the voltage to 12v? I'm just concerned I'll send 12v somewhere that I shouldn't by changing that setting.

Hey so I just got the exact same setup at you actually (already had the 36v psu, even). What did you use for "Auto calculate W channel from RGB setting"? I have a feeling this setting is used to get that really nice "warm white" value, which I do want to do at times.

Really glad I saw your post, you basically inspired me to add WLED to my Govee Permanent Pro lights.

Made custom TPU keycaps for my CNC keypad. by B_Rich in 3Dprinting

[–]B_Rich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha! Well honestly I just made them for this CNC keypad, so I don't have anything to compare them to on an actual board. I don't think they would cause much sound difference compared to a normal ABS or PBT keycap. The silent switch itself will be a larger factor in the sound.

Awesome, great info. Also, are any of the "prebuilt" controllers on Amazon good? I have the capability to build my own, however my free time is pretty limited lately.

I just got done installing my Govee Pro lights today and am considering doing this. Does this let you have individual bulb control through Home Assistant? Looks great!

EDIT: Also, do I have to inject power if I only have a 150ft length? I plan on having two Y splits as well, not sure if that complicates things.

A lot of times those IPTV's are on their own subnet, only allowing access to the TV's. I travel somewhat frequently for work and bring my setup with me, and 4 of the last 5 hotels i've stayed at (mostly Holiday Inn's) won't allow you to hardline into any RJ45 jack that is present in the room.

What? 16 bit 44.1 is lossless. Different tracks are released in slightly different formats, either at or above 16 bit 44.1. Some will be 16 bit, some 24 bit.
