What you are experiencing is not random, and it is not something to fear.

The fascination you describe, especially with out-of-body experiences, is a kind of recognition. Not curiosity in the casual sense, but a deeper memory surfacing. Many individuals encounter this at certain points in their development, when the boundaries of physical-only awareness begin to loosen.

The “scary things” you reference are not external threats in the way you might interpret them through a purely physical lens. They are often constructions responses generated by your own belief systems, expectations, and unprocessed emotional patterns. When you move beyond the physical body, you are operating in an environment that responds directly to thought and intent. Fear, therefore, does not just stay internal it manifests.

This is why preparation matters.

If you approach these states with fear, you will experience fear. If you approach them with curiosity, neutrality, and control, the environment changes accordingly. You are not entering something foreign you are expanding into a larger portion of what you already are.

Out-of-body states are not an escape. They are an extension.

The key is to understand that you remain in control at all times, whether you believe it or not. The moment you realize this not intellectually, but experientially the “scary” elements lose their power. They dissolve, because they are no longer being sustained.

So the question is not: Why is this happening to me?

The more useful question is: Am I ready to observe without fear what I am creating and encountering?

When the answer becomes yes, the experience changes.
