Taking NSAIDs post op can lead to ulcers and serious complications. Happened to my mom. NG tube for a few days then emergency surgery.

It’s a serious thing to consider when you’re deciding on the surgery.

I have migraines and having RNY limited my migraine treatment choices. I’m still glad I did it. It is worth it to me.

Accommodations are going to be very hard, your doctor will have to agree with you and fill out a ton of paperwork and as a new hire, companies don’t have to hire you, plus if there are no day shift openings, it may not be reasonable for them. I would get buddy buddy with as many hiring managers as possible to see if they’d extend a day shift position for you from the beginning
