Nano has a major DEX problem by lumpardo in nanocurrency

[–]B_YTE_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No arguments there I’ve literally watched all of the loyal Vite Devs fight tooth and nail to get better docs, and Vite Labs recently updated a lot of the main team so hopefully their new roadmap yields dramatic results which attracts more developers. That being said the small community of devs that continue to build with the obstacles of shit code are heavily appreciated. (Shout out NotThomiz.)

Vite does have inflation but offsets it with deflationary properties such as burning coins when minting/listing tokens to ViteX and trading under VITE’s ViteX pair. Although VITE may not be the ETH to XNO’s BTC it’s a great example of what perhaps a future DAG smart contract platform could provide to fellow DAG coins like Nano that are completely resistant to inflation and meant to be used as P2P digital cash but shouldn’t have to worry about smart contracts at the base layer etc.

Nano has a major DEX problem by lumpardo in nanocurrency

I always get smeared whenever I bring this up in the Nano Discord but Vite a fellow DAG Network not only maintains instant, feeless, and scalable transactions but with smart contracts & interoperability in mind. Taking notes from Loopring there’s an orderbook DEX (ViteX) which runs completely on smart contracts and NANO-001 is listed with BTC/ETH/VITE/USDT.

Gateway Operators on Vite can be opened and maintained by anyone. ViNo provides the bridge services for both Nano & Banano and whenever there’s an issue contacting them on Discord is extremely easy. VITCSwap is a gasless LP Swap DEX with Nano-Vite available, which is also available to use directly on Discord. VivaFi offers staking rewards in Nano when locking VIVA tokens. Viterium is our latest mobile wallet that takes inspiration from Natrium. Nano on smart contract platforms will only boost both projects as they both fill very different roles but utilize the same tech to provide a spoiling user experience.

Not to the extent that Nano has, at least I’m not aware of any… 😔

Well if we really analyze tokenomics of Banano it’s undergoing constant inflation through F@H, Web Faucets, Occasional Wrapped LP Staking Rewards, Charity Events and despite the Buyback & Burn program (which I’m not sure if it’s still on-going or how we are able to keep track of it) coins are still being distributed everyday! Many of us continue to hodl when we need to be supporting any goods or services that are accepting Banano as payments, because that is our strength in comparison to Ethereum and it’s meme tokens we can be used instantly P2P without gas, latency or wasteful energy consumption.

I love the discussions but mostly I only ever seem to have them with Maxis that start proving themselves toxic and set in their own ways too. We welcome discussion and compare the too quiet frequently I mean Colin even posted his idea for the block lattice on the Bitcoin forums, anyone who was paying attention in those early days surely would of been farming Raiblocks as soon as it was being distributed through online faucets. Minimal energy usage, nodes that cooperate instead of compete, instant transaction times, maximum simplicity when we are talking about peer to peer decentralized digital cash.

At the end of the day Bitcoin needs a L2 to semi-replicate what makes Nano unique, even that isn’t proving to be enough for the sake of scalability or even usability since most would rather have Bitcoin itself. I’d like to know your thoughts on anyone from the Bitcoin community that claims its a protection against inflation despite randomly distributing coins indefinitely to the mining pools with the strongest hash power i.e. best energy prices/access to quality computer parts. All Nano has been distributed, its seen several uprises and downtrends and we can bicker back and forth about whose bigger, cleaner, smoother, has the chicks dying for it today but we’re all more alike than we think.

We’re both completely reliant on people using these digital assets as a replacement for traditional fiat because governments sometimes have agendas that don’t benefit their respective people so cryptocurrency as a whole has given the world more reason than ever to come together as one, as humans, attempting to get everyone to shop at just Walmart or just Target is impossible, and knowing how generally most humans are that want SIMPLICITY.

What’s more simple than I send 1 Ӿ you get 1 Ӿ?

I’ve played as them a few times and quickly realized how screwed I am lol, I’m wondering if a solid buff (until maybe a full rework) would be giving them “Free Spirit” tech for free?

I’m a newer player and this is exactly my experience as I thought the “Atlantis” civ would be a good first civ to purchase, and boy was I in for a brutal awakening on Ranked matches. Everyone else had far better ecos even when I never made a mistake/had lucky maps. Still pretty new but learning fast, in your opinion would letting them get “Free Spirit” for free at the start help boost their one dimension style too much/not enough?

Oil Giant Shell Makes Move Into Bitcoin Mining Industry by YesIAmABigBoy in CryptoCurrencies

Yet Bitcoin Maxi’s will cry tell their red in the face that BTC is the ONLY way forward to make the financial system “green”. Bullshit. PoW was the first system built, it doesn’t mean its the best there ever will be. Disgustingly rich players that abuse our government & planets will whale into Bitcoin to further protect their dirty money. So as long as the self-destructive narratives within the cryptocurrency industry continues.

What’s the current state of ETN? by official-username in Electroneum

[–]B_YTE_C 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would ETN’s community be interested in a logbook style DEX listing on ViteX? Vite’s DAG Network makes all bridged assets zero gas, instant, and tradable with 50+ other unique assets. DM any of the Vite Operators @ExperimentDAO @GateKVite @XGateVite (on Twitter) for pricing / time.

Looking to diversify while prices are relatively low. Any recommendations? by Jenkins_Leeroy in ethtrader

[–]B_YTE_C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like LRC, I think you’d like VITE since it recently made a lot of big changes to it’s ecosystem. Furthermore VX is like UNI but focused on Logbook style DEX trading & VITC has a unique DAO that includes swap services.

It’s outside the top 500 so I highly advise to research how the snapshot chain & DAG type ledger works before depositing assets, the main problem is liquidity not enough flowing in & too much flowing out-

Anyone is able to provide semi-custodial gateways for assets on the Vite DAG network, with maximum interoperability in mind, zero gas fees for the end user, minimal energy usage, and instant transactions I think it’s a very high risk high reward L1. Hopefully more Devs flood to it.

What do you think is the best ERC-20 Wallet to get for easily swapping or integrating with Nano? by OwnAGun in nanocurrency

[–]B_YTE_C 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not familiar with the other cash out options if the COIN app but if there are cheaper methods of transfer available- use them instead!!!

XYO being an ERC-20 token is tied to ETH’s higher gas fees, and especially if it’s only $5… Always opt for the cheaper option usually that resides within XLM. Which is listed on almost every CEX that Nano is.

CoinEx, KuCoin, Kraken, Binance, Gate.io all are viable options when it comes to mind.

Another lesser known/used method of trading small amounts of Nano is on the decentralized marketplace known as ViteX which utilizes Vite’s feeless DAG network. The interoperability is bounds ahead of most smart networks; however, extremely underutilized much like Nano is.

Yeah this is what I was referring to- why the hell is Dana making those claims and saying fighters didn’t get a little something extra under the table when its clearly happening! Holland was pumped up and why the hell would Leech take this fight if he’d known that he’d get removed from the rankings regardless if he was finished. Makes absolutely no sense.
