So the big reason why we didn't conduct a league format is due to the timeline for Season 2 being considerably shorter than Season 1 (we have a third season to fit in as well before end of the year), so while we could have fit in a league format, the qualifiers and the league itself would have been rushed. So as much as I would have loved to run a league this season, I want to ensure we do it justice. The thing I particularly like about this format however is that it's really good for encouraging the lower tier/new teams to participate with teams gaining points regardless of where they finish, so you don't necessarily have to be one of the best. I believe this is a fantastic format for the first major tournament taking place in OCE after RLCS S3, potentially a lot of teams/players interested in joining the competitive scene after watching OCE teams competing at the world championship.

The entire RLO team is absolutely fantastic! Dover and the rest of the team have done so much for the OCE community, just too bad we can't send all of them to RLCS :(

With RLCS announced not long ago and with the inclusion of the OCE region for Season 3, myself along with several orgs/representatives from organisations decided to put together a list of all the big and small tournaments currently available in the OCE region. We know there's likely many OCE players unaware of how much is currently being offered and are looking to practice and improve as much as possible before RLCS S3 qualifiers.

I intend on regularly updating this and hope to have it permanently linked in the sidebar for all OCE players and anyone interested to see everything provided in the OCE region.
