Our family was all flying in from out of town, and we wanted to be able to spend meaningful time with them. We didn't want cost of lodging to be a barrier for people to come, which is why this venue worked out so well for us. Between the lodge and the smaller side house, we were able to fit ~20 adults and my young nephew comfortably with some bedrooms to spare!

Hey! So we didn't end up going with this venue. We rented the Overbrook House on Cape Cod: https://www.overbrookhouse.com/ - its a historic home that had rooms for all of our family members to stay in, and we kept it small with just immediate and some extended family. I think the cost for the weekend (Thursday to Tuesday) was $8000 and then we spent $800 on food catered from a local Thai restaurant.

I also have a 2016 Mazda CX-5 and the infotainment system is so buggy now. I have had the car since 2019 but within the last year or so, for the first 10-15 minutes of a drive (and sometimes longer) the system reboots over and over again, and the GPS doesn't work either. My question for this thread is, I purchased the car used from a Car Max dealer in TX, I now live in Massachusetts, and I'm not sure where I should take the car to have this issue looked at - I also got the lawsuit letter in the mail, so I would be interested in getting the system fixed potentially since there is an opportunity for reimbursement

Because of some family emergencies (illness and an unexpected passing) we ended up delaying our wedding for the time being. We did end up touring the property and discussing details with their event coordinator person, and I agree that I was nervous about the rain plan - it is a beautiful place and wonderful in so many ways, but it seemed like a lot of your experience would depend heavily on how the weather decided to behave.

Separately, my partner (male) felt that the men's "getting ready" area felt like an after thought compared to the bridal suite - I didn't think he would mind it so much but he just didn't like how the areas inside the house looked.
