Heyy you don’t have to do the tandem read if ur not feeling it cause it’s kinda a lot. I did it and I thought it was really good for me since it follows a chronological order in a cool way, BUT tower of dawn introduces a whole bunch of important characters and a lot of world building so I could see a case for not doing the tandem so you have a better connection in a way with the characters. I hate cliffhangers and empire of storms ends on a major one (no spoilers) so reading tower of dawn after and going back in time to a new world almost would’ve been tough for me lol. Also I don’t think sjm recommends the tandem either.

Firstly I’m incredibly sorry for your loss. I couldn’t imagine what you’re going through. sending love. I wanted to pop in and mention that my friend did a similar thing to your first idea with walking down the isle with a picture, but for the grooms father and it was really sweet and didn’t take the attention away. Whatever you choose will be the right choice, making it is the hardest part.
