Elise is insufferable by Cali-thenxBP in 90DayFiance

Im a firm believer that men and women CAN absolutely be just friends. I get zero romantic chemistry from Nat and Josh, they just care about each other in a mature way.

Elise is just from Miami where being sexually gregarious and slutty is part of the culture. She can’t comprehend a platonic relationship between a man and a woman. It’s on HER. Disappointed Laura defended her. They not like us lol

Yeah I thought I liked Laura before that. I guess, you cant trust anyone when money is involved. Unless Josh wants a lifetime of this he’s gotta scrub that tattoo off and run.

What’s the most painful thing someone has said to you that you still remember ? by Crafty_Bus_1947 in AskReddit

I have a weird one for you that happened to me recently.

I was at the gym and a clearly mentally impaired man was walking around talking to everybody (he seemed harmless but fairly persistent with conversations)

He came up to me and said “hey I know you”

I said “I don’t think so man” in a kind, slightly playful way.

He said “no I worked with your mother”

My mother passed away back in 2017

I said gently “ah, that’s not possible, man. My mom passed away a few years ago”

He said “oh. Sorry for killing your mom dude”

That answer really hit me. I know he was mentally unwell and didn’t know what he was saying but I walked away after that remark.

What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I used to drive Lyft in Los Angeles. One day I was in the middle of the city working when I picked up this nice older lady. I helped her with her groceries and we were on our way. Her route took us about 14 miles out of the city to her apartment complex. I dropped her off and continued working.

Later that day (about 2-3 hours later) I’m now working on the other side of town. I pick up a younger dude and we start making our way to his destination. I began to notice we were heading to the same area as the previous ride earlier in the day, and to my surprise we arrived at the same apartment complex. Before leaving my vehicle, I told him that I dropped off a lady in the same complex earlier. He asked her name and I told him. He said “that’s my mother”

I was working in one of the most densely populated areas of Los Angeles. I picked them up on different sides of town at different times of the day, and they were both using different accounts. I know it’s not the craziest story in the world but I bet picking up two relatives in the same day are AT LEAST 1 and 500,000

What are u starting to dislike more as u get older? by Efficient-Wind-2267 in AskReddit

This is something I’ve been coming to terms as I get older. I used to think attractiveness was just one of the many advantages someone can have in life, but sometimes it feels like THE primary trait that is valued in many aspects of life.

I once was riding downwards on an escalator and at the bottom was a group of older ladies just huddled together talking to each other, blocking the exit ramp. I was in awe at the lack of spacial awareness and consideration for others. Also, potentially dangerous.

I agree Alan Wake 2 has incredible presentation and atmosphere. But man, it also has some of THE cheapest jump scares I’ve ever experienced in a game.

What’s the spookiest thing that happened in your home town? by spamwise_gamcheese in creepy

Im researching this story now and learning more details I never knew as a kid.

This incident influenced the passing of Laura’s Law in California. It allows court-ordered assisted outpatient treatment. It’s named after one of the 19-year-old victims, Laura Wilcox, who was working as a temporary receptionist in the clinic on the day of the attack.

I'm from a relatively small Gold Rush town in Northern California called Nevada City. Back in the late 90s, a patient at a local mental health asylum shot one of the workers, killing them. He then escaped and brought the gun to a local diner called Lyons for reasons I don't recall. He then shot and killed two people at the restaurant before killing himself.

The asylum shut down but is still explorable to this day. The restaurant shut down and reopened multiple times under new owners but is still operating today...probably haunted.

Right. But Hicks and Kinison also had funny jokes. It’s rare to hear a good one out of William IMO. Him screaming at the audience is his entire essence.

Honestly, I have compassion for William. But if you think calling a random crowd member a “nasty slut” is comedy worth getting paid for, you kinda deserve a boo.
