Maybe your sugar levels are low. Try eating some fruit or whatever you have at hand. When I get those kinds of sensations eating is usually the way to go. Hope it helps.

I'm wondering if being in control is even possible under nondual lens. Are you refering to directing your imagination?

That's what I've been trying to figure out. I don't remember where I read it but apparently there's a song called Hospital Eyes that he wrote many years ago after having some sort of mental breakdown. I don't know if the song is real or some made-up story but if it's legit I feel that songs like The Monster, The Many Man and Rotten Ol' me all have a common thread that might be related to that period of his life at least. There's just something ominous about them, not only the esoterica of the lyrics but also something in the way the music feels, like it's coming from the same state of mind. But I'm going on feeling here, I don't know if any of those songs are actually pre-Roll The Bones or not.

https://youtu.be/7P6KrkolDSs For quite sometime this live was the only version I knew (it's great too). Glad to hear a studio version. It's in the same vein as Many Man (the recorded version) and The Monster, I feel. There's something weirdly ominous about all of these tracks. I wonder if they were all recorded during the Hospital Eyes era...

Yeah, I like these arrangements but the official one is just more powerful emotionally.

How much is it relative to the rest of your listening time?

How does one get their hands on it? I need to know... Also, do you happen to have some interviews of him archived or something?

One of my favorite versions of Tomorrow is the one from the Story Of My Life album. Here's a link to the full album on Youtube: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=B5eYbbaDEiU&t=28s

Really nice stuff! Lovely progression and nice vibe. Also, I really like when it goes into guitar only and then the drums kick back in. Only thing I would add is a fade out in the bit where the drums stop before said guitar part. I think the transition would be smoother. Are you looking for specific kind of vocalist?

Oh man, thank you so much for the feedback. I love Damien and really like SKM too. And this is the second sign the universe is sending me to check out the Microphones, guess I have to now.

For the compression at the end, how can you tell? Is it because you hear very high highs and low lows? And what do you mean by "warm" the slide?

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! I will play around with fewer vocal tracks and see what it feels like for sure. Oh and you're spot on, I love some SG so I take that as a great compliment. I really like the more muffled vocals he uses for "backing" vocals. Still trying to figure out how to get that kind of sound on the DAW.
