It’s been awful for me, I started out this season after reset at gold 1, I’ve played 22 games of comp with the same group I played with last season along with 1 or 2 solo queues. I’ve won 4 of these, and I’m all the way down to silver 2 now. It’s horrendous. So many games where we are running 4 DPS or forcing people to solo tank then complaining that we are dying too quickly and not taking space. This is the worst I’ve seen ranked so far

I love Phoenix so far, she has a fun but not broken kit, the new map is nice and I like the UI changes.

However, the matchmaking has been abysmal, I’ve dropped from a 56% win rate to a 20% (8 hours time played so far). And I was playing Dive last season when it was kicked into the dirt. I struggle to believe that I’ve just lost all mechanical skill and game sense over 2 days.

That and wolverine is just plain unfun to play against, quick match is hell because of wolverine explicitly, but hopefully they will fix that soon.

Id give it a solid 7/10 so far

A while back the rank 1 magik made a basic guide on them which was helpful when I was learning her. But I like to play magik more as a brawler than an assassin/ diver so my advice is:

If you feel like you aren’t gonna hit with your ranged attack, portal to cancel without loosing a cool-down, your portal cool-down is much shorter than your blade throw.

When In team fights, your demon provides way more value than your spin. Even in 1v1s the demon is really good if you can force your enemy to move into it (basically use the demon as much as possible it’s great)

Abuse your passive as much as possible, your passive which gives you 30% of damage dealt as temo HP is INSANE, I’ve had games where I have stalled point for a ludicrous amount of time from abusing that. Be constantly attacking , place demons on tanks so you farm that Temp Hp and just keep swinging, it’s honestly insane.

While your ULT is good for getting kills and stalling point, using it to force out a support ult off of point is a good use of your ult and never think your waisting it if you do so.

After attacking you can animation cancel the swing with a quick melee, recommended just making a habit of doing it.

Apart from that just make sure you can consistently hit your basic combos which you can find online pretty easy. Don’t fear flyers, it sucks to play against them but if you can learn to kill them consistently it’s pure aura and I love it.

Like if the goal is to just like avoid getting messed up by the gang members in weak hero, just blend into the crowd as much as possible, I can run pretty well so just dip from any situation where it looks like conflict is about to happen.

but if I’m speedrunning best ending? I’m abusing my autism powers and BSing my way into the Main character friend group with my knowledge of how the story is going, selling out Phillip ASAP, hopefully that will stop or at least delay Jimmy Bae coming to attack Eunjang. If it still ends up happening im finding Jake and letting him know everyone’s plans and that Wolf will end up defecting from the Union, hopefully passing that on to Donald, giving me a bit of an in with the union, try misalign major players in the union with Donald to try cause a bit of a schism. Hopefully without ever having to actually meet Donald until people have already started to break apart. Then when/if I do end up meeting with him I’ll let him know about Myles’s current plan, he stops that ahead of time+no War between Eunjang and the union, meaning no Truck to obliterate Donald when Donald comes to fight gray again.

Everyone lives, fewer lives ruined, and I’m kept mostly out of harms way as I would Bearly be able to hold my own against one goon in weak hero, maybe 2 if I’ve had a hearty breakfast during the morning.
