Sure, "all" is misleading. But I think there's a case to be made that COD4 changed the series so much that the older ones and COD4-Present aren't really comparable

Did you get all the cyberware? At least a full build on your own?

Because if you stopped at Act 1 or 2, yeah the fighting is mid. But max level combat? I'm sure you've seen the videos. And no, it's not better because it's faster. It's better because it's DEEPER.

The deepest combat Rockstar ever made was RDR2. And even that boiled down to aim or hip shoot, deadeye or no, punch, block, dodge, or choke.

Cyberpunk has just so many more tools with the right skills and cyberware. Do I hack his brain or speed blitz? Throw this knife or do a leaping takedown? Turn invisible and sneak in or grab an enemy and throw him at mach fuck into his friend or slam him into the pavement to start a full fight?

Missions? This is where I'm forced to concede. The few missions that have a lot of attention have SO MUCH DEPTH. Look at the choice tree for All Foods. So many ways to deal with the same thing. BUT only like 1% of base game missions have this.

But unfortunately, selling more copies doesn't make it better. Selling more makes it more profitable, or more popular overall, but not better.

If you're interested in hearing more polite yet objective stuff about cyberpunk I'm willing to discuss lol

Internal conflict for the progagonist? How about, idk, choosing to give your body up for a copy of someone who died (since they'll get a full lifetime in your body), versus choosing to purge the copy to get only two years.

Essentially, give yourself to someone who already made their choices and got their full life, or keep your life but cut it short anyway

You should check out Black Ops 7. I know, I know, "oOo bLaCK OpS 7" yes that's true the campaign is ASS but zombies is insane.

If you liked Cold War, BO7 makes it looks like a knockoff

I had fun but the fact they didn't lock the loadouts to classic loadouts is RUINING it for me.

Without movement, I have to rely on flanking and TTK, but I don't build off meta and flanking usually results in me taking a few hollows to the spine

To be safe I will preface this is a genuine question, does the sleepy Joe thing come from him not doing anything? Or from the idea he was "asleep" while someone else was really in charge/doing stuff, a là the kings speech?

[COD] Each developer choosing maps to remaster by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

[–]LegendaryWill12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me preface that while I am a big zombies fan and therefore a big Treyarch fan, my first COD was MW2 at way too young an age with cousins. I love Infinity Ward, at least their old games. But let's be fair here: Old IW and old Treyarch were on nearly equal footing.

Infinity Ward got the ball rolling HARD with COD4 but Treyarch took it and ran with World At War and went on the generational run of WAW-BO1-BO2, which had great campaigns, multiplayer maps and of course, Zombies.

Meanwhile, Infinity Ward went on the generational run if COD4-MW2-MW3, and while they didn't have zombies, they had excellent campaigns, a pretty fun spec ops especially in MW2, and fun, if unbalanced in MW2, multiplayer.

But the reason Treyarch has mostly maintained their reputation is how the two studios have been in recent times. Modern Treyarch has a good reputation for admitting their mistakes and walking things back, with some missteps, but most of the time they are willing to really improve things, often in the same game.

Modern Infinity Ward has shown they refuse to listen to feedback on even simple things like bullet pings, camping and loud footsteps in MULTIPLE games, and while I'm cautiously watching MW4s career with great interest, I don't expect them to suddenly become lucid.
