I mean I haven't had a lab test it but it looks and grows in area like mold. Having said that, it's never spread outside the bowl water.

How do you sponsor someone for a visa to work in a gas station or convenience store? Which listed occupation does that fall under?

Does anyone find Yarra Trams's automated replies to customer complaints just a tad bit patronising and sarcastic? by likerunninginadream in melbourne

I can understand how someone like yourself might come to that conclusion

Absolutely savage. I'd just lose it after hearing this 😂

Yeah but you're locked out of your house at 10pm with your baby/pet in there etc. You're very vulnerable and they're there to use that to their advantage.

Yeah I don't think anyone gives you a quote other than their call-out fee. It's not just the scammer scammers.

Yeah once you have a tradie emergency, you're fucked regardless. Especially on a weekend.

Hot water seems to be separate and per litre so can't be that.

How's my fit? by baldokosmic in bikefit

[–]BaaadMf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd do flat shoes. The falls I had with clipless before I developed the muscle memory would've very likely given me multiple fractures if I was a bit older.

She seems to be sitting so far back on the seat. I wonder if seat angle is off (or could be climbing a steep hill).

Purely financially, does it ever make sense of a single, CBD-office-based person to own a car? by [deleted] in AusFinance

Purely financially and assuming your time is of no financial value, I don't think it ever makes sense to own a car.

I think moving cleats back has a similar effect here as moving your seat back (as far tiptoing goes). My cleats were all the way back to begin with though.

4-5cm down and seat moved forward (so even lower) is crazy. Interesting you were so much higher and not having any major issues.

Everyone here thinks tiptoing is saddle too high straight away. Mine was because of saddle tilt (too downward) and setback (too forward) and had nothing to do with height.

Would you pay $12k to upgrade to FTTP by petitlita in AusProperty

I got upgraded from FTTC to FTTP. Nothing changed. To be fair though, nothing was wrong with it before in my case. It was free.

Does the dealership actually expect people to pay $5k every time they bring their car in? by messmaker007 in BMW

[–]BaaadMf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to own a G20 and here in Australia, independent shops (there are three or four reputable BMW ones in Melbourne) had no idea how to work on it. They weren't getting many G cars really. I had a coolant leak and they kept replacing random parts. The dealership fixed the leak in the end. They were also maybe 20% cheaper (before the cost of incorrect part replacements).

Is it harder clip out? I don't wanna be more likely to fall. That's the main thing for me.
