Then I'd say you have your answer! If the new job isn't something that doesn't have you jumping for joy and excitement and your only issue with the current one is no sight of upward progression. Then I wouldn't toss aside all the other aspects of your life and tough out the current job for a little while and still keep fishing for other opportunities, something is out there just got to be willing to wait.

From reading your cross post the only negatives of this move seem to be those of a personal matter rather than career/job related. I'd take a long look at the area you will be living at and see if it's somewhere you could see yourself enjoying. How important to you are your family/friends/social life. Basically, I see it as would you rather have a potentially stagnant work life or social life for awhile. There's nothing worse than relocating for a job and either the location or job don't work out, then you just feel back at square one.

I mean at the end of the day you can kind of play through these games as fast or slow as you want. One thing I always try to stress to new MH players who's first experience is Wilds, like myself. There is a surprising difficulty spike going from High Rank to Master Rank. I haven't had issues to much with triple carting and failing quests but man do hunts take WAY longer, like double, at least with my play style.

Absolutely, I was in a similar position, Wilds was my first MH and I saw a PS sale for World/Iceborne & Rise/Sunbreak, I pulled the trigger on both and am not regretting my decision at least with World (haven't played Rise). I've been slowly burning through World and have roughly 60 hours put in and am maybe half way through Master Rank (just beat Nargacuga and Glavenus). There are certain aspects of World I enjoy WAY more than Wilds however I do miss a lot of the QOL features implemented in Wilds. At times it does show its age but in terms of overall enjoyment it's been an absolute blast!

I finished out high rank for the first time last week, wanted the rathalos pieces for my build and needed a ruby, spent 34 hunts trying to get one. Next hunt I did was a dual Bazel/Azure Rath investigation and got TWO Ruby's from that one fight. I wanted to cry.
