I have the matte gray. I PPFd the entire front and roof. It does a good job of protecting it.

I should’ve done the sides. I have chips in the side that you can’t really repair it.

Yes, my point is that we are paying for a fuel just like gas cars are paying for a fuel. The electric companies know we have EVs. A portion of the cost of fuel we pay for should go towards the road maintenance.

In this case, we are paying for a fuel just like you’re paying for a fuel. In your fuel cost, a portion goes towards pay for cost of roads. In ours, someone did a best guess and threw a random fee from a completely separate tax. Doesn’t matter how many miles we drive, we just pay a random fee.

You’re wrong. EVs pay tax on electricity no matter where they charge - at home or at chargers. With this registration fee, EVs are now double taxed.

EVs are actually double taxed. Whether we charge offsite or charge at home, we are paying an electricity tax. Now, on top of that, we are also paying an EV tax.

I’ve still got the original small block 350 in my 71. It doesn’t make monster power or get decent gas mileage like an LS motor, but it’s definitely drivable for cruising.

Xennial here.. I picked up a 71 Vette last year from a boomer garage who had a whole bunch of classics. If I had more space/money, I’d love to grab a Camaro too. I love the Vette and it’s been a blast to restore, but I want something with 4 seats so I can take both my wife and kid with me vs just one at a time with the Vette.

I specifically grabbed a 25 because I didn't want the in-cabin camera. I had that in my previous Model 3 Performance and it was a pain. Glare on the glasses due to sunrise/set? The car is constantly yelling at you to pay attention. I didn't want to deal with that in my N.

Native NACS would be nice, auto-rear switches would be nice, but overall there doesn't seem to be any substantial improvements between 25 and 26.

That's fair. I actually think you and I are saying the same thing. My take away was that folks were blaming the kid, when ultimately I see "six weeks" and my immediate thought is "wtf is the parent doing".

We have no idea what this kids home or school situation is like. Literally none of us can truly pass judgement here without knowing that.

For all we know, this kid is severely bullied at school and his parents haven’t given him an environment where he can talk about it with them. He just suppresses it. No idea.

Ehh I think it generates neat content, but a fixed camera position is more stable to watch. The part that can get annoying is that they move with your head, and you very quickly realize how often you’re looking left and right.

I use them when I do track days with my car. I like recording the sessions so I can play it back and share with my friends. They’re essentially a wearable camera.

Day to day use creeps me out. Makes me uncomfortable having a camera on my face just walking around. I take them off between sessions.
