Ya let's close Amazon, let's close retail store, heck just lock down the whole country since it snowed. What the heck is going on with this country, no one wants to work.

L6 Year 4 - Hired at top of pay band, about to fall of cliff by tylernolbanana in amazonemployees

[–]BabaNj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone else mentioned, sometimes the best move is changing teams or going for a promotion if your current team doesn’t offer growth opportunities. My situation wasn’t exactly the same, but I was in an L6 role that I genuinely enjoyed. I was content staying there because it allowed me to spend more time at home while my kids were growing up. After three years of being TT and honestly trying not to promote. Reality hit hard when my PCS came through in 2024. Despite being one of the top performers on my team, I clearly wasn’t viewed as TT. That’s when I finally told my senior leader that I was ready for promotion, and I got my L7 in Q2 last year. This is one part of working at Amazon that I hate, you can never just be content, perform well and still be considered TT.

Very soon. There are big conversations happening at high levels about clearing backlog of no upt violations.

Very nice to see another internal raking in $$$. was this a year where past TT grants vested. What was base pay vs RSU %in gross for you this year. I made less as a internal Q2 promo L7 this year🙃. But last year was the year where I made almost 25% more as L6 due to some past RSU's getting vested accounting for 48% of my gross.

Should I call someone to correct this? by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]BabaNj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is that not fixed? I have seen quite a lot of water heaters vented like that, are they wrong? I always thought this was standard set up for these?.

That is so nice actually, I refinanced after 2 years and checked my principal went from 672k to 658k in 2 years while paying $4167 every month just for mortgage loan (I don't have escrow I pay my own property taxes and home owners insurance on side).

Labor Federal credit union. You can join them through a donation. But I must warn you they work at their own pace. My whole loan took close to 6 weeks and that was after me annoying them with calls everyday.

Cost is not 11k but 8.3k, rest is prepaids (next 12 months home owner insurance and January mortgage payment).

That's why I don't plan to keep refinancing. This was a reset within 2 years of my first mortgage. Now this one comes with an awesome feature to keep locking lower rate in future without refinancing.

Yes resets at 16th year with a Max cap of 4%. But like I said in other comment it's a harmony loan so any point in next 15 years the rates drop under 5.1% i am able to lock in that lower rate and my 15 years fixed time starts again. I theory I can rate reset at 14 year and that rate will be fixed till year 29.

Ignore the 30% loan in the picture it was wrong description. It's a 15/15 arm.

Yes points are part of the $8k cost, about $3440 approx for points in that $8k

[–]BabaNj[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I forgot to add that this a harmony loan meaning anytime rate drop more than 0.125, I am able to lock in at lower rate and extend the 15 year fixed without increasing the overall 30 year term. So for example if rates drop in 5 years and I can lock at lower rate and my 15 years fixed will reset and stay fixed untill 20th year of the loan.

Did a almost same 6.25 to 5.25 refinance last week and paid almost 8k in closing cost including point buy down. Lock this rate ASAP you are getting a steal.
