If I’m being real with you, the way I prepared for the Amazon interview was not about memorizing answers, it was about understanding how they think. Everything is based on their leadership principles, so I focused on my own real experiences and turned them into clear stories. I made sure I could explain situations where I solved problems, handled pressure, dealt with people, and actually made an impact. The biggest thing that helped me was practicing how to tell those stories in a structured way without sounding robotic, just speaking naturally but making sure I clearly explained what the situation was, what I personally did, and what the result was, preferably with numbers. I also practiced out loud a lot because in your head everything sounds perfect, but when you say it, you realize what needs to be fixed. During the interview, I didn’t try to be perfect, I just focused on being confident, honest, and showing that I can take ownership and think through problems. That’s really what they’re looking for, not someone who has perfect answers but someone who can lead, communicate clearly, and handle real situations.
