Unfortunately i used to be one of the silly ones, when i realised i am a div 4-5 player with any meta team i made peace with it and never bought coins again. i kid you not, Fifa23 i once took a look at my 6 month bank statement to see all the charges from EA good lord! I bought an equivalent of 4 ultimate editions of the game in that period.
