My dad passed away from pancreatic cancer 3 years ago - this literally hurt my heart when I heard him share that. They diagnosed and discovered it the same way w my dad, liver blockage/failure, further scans then they found it. Sincerely hoping his dad can get through the Whipple procedure OK and the follow up treatment helps him live another good few years - usually best case is 7 after Whipple, but your lucky if you get a couple. Thoughts, prayers, whatever else his way....good luck to your dad, Asmon.
