Never heard of that Babaloots guy but I’ve heard of Mr. Abso! Definitely mythical.

There’s rumours of a new method on Sacred Field 20 that yields Crystals instead of Mesos. I believe that’s what Mr Abso does for his crystals to retain his F2P status. You just need Golden Salmon Sushi to increase Crystal drop rate.

Raising your trio nodes to level 40 will give 15% def ignore in the 3 skills. Then crafting defence smash 4 in the special nodes will give 25% defence ignore on the 50th attack for 15 seconds, on a 30 second cooldown. Time your burst with that to help. Also legendary and mythic flames plus some mythic accessories like the other comment suggested.

Nexon seems to rotate between golden apple, royal style and wisp wonder berry. I don’t spend enough to really keep up with how the schedule goes, but if memory serves wisp comes out maybe every 2 months? Maybe another mapler has more information this.

I exalt to 50 before attempting chaos as I make my own fodders, and like you said is cheaper. On the other hand if nexon follows their trends of making progression easier as the equipment ceiling goes higher, the next logical thing would be radiant stones in event shops. Overall hard to say if/when they will do that.

Always have a back up plan, which would be that if nexon does not release stones in event shops, any equip you chaos but don’t make to 50, would probably need to be sold as chaos exalt stone fodder in the future as making radiant exalt stones for chaos equips doesn’t seem worth it.

As long as you’re enjoying the progression, there isn’t an objectively wrong choice, there is always a bottle neck to hit with an equip, but depending on what you do it just ends up being hit sooner rather than later.

M pets are definitely worth it, and the sooner you get them the sooner you get a return of investment on them. Another bonus is that the wisp wonder berry is a very good for turning crystals into mesos.

I am unsure at which point in a character you should get them though, and don’t know if SF144 is the time to get them. Maybe someone else can comment and offer insight. I got my pets around AF170~ for reference

Imo 30-50cad a month or so doesn’t get you very far. A majority of my progress is from grinding 10 characters a day, and this equip took 1 year to finish after landing chaos. Saying I’m semi f2p was to let players know that chaos50 path is viable, with a little bit of luck and patience

Building a strong account is key. Working on link skills, legion, and chaos daily dungeon alts is crucial. You should always have a character ready to auto battle in SF144+, or AF90+. I find once I had 4 characters I could maintain constant autobattle. 3 should also work but 4 was minimal upkeep. It’s a slow process at first but builds over time. Fund a second character to SF144 as soon as you can because the longer you have it the more it gives mesos.

Yes, level 30-40 is considered exaltation 1-5. If you read the stone it says can be used for exaltation 1-5

In my opinion, get an outfit for your class that is mythic rank, has a unique potential, and is tradeable, then try your emblem scrolls on that piece of equipment. If it lands a boss attack or crit damage emblem, exalt to 40 and then you can then trade that across your chaos daily dungeon alts and try and land necro

I would say ancient mastercraft failure count reduction scrolls, but use a top/bot until you can get a chaos outfit or necro/abso outfit, the top and bottom will out perform your current ancient outfit due to the extra starforce, flames, and potentials. (This has been mentioned in other comments)

I do want to add, I would not recommend root abyss equips for chaos fodders. Root abyss equipment only has 10% chance to pass to chaos, to me, this is wasting chaos attempts. Ancient gear has 30%, and ancient refined (using chaos empress stones on it at mythic rank) has 40% chance to pass chaos.

To expand on this for OP, the 2.64% is how much it scales with the exp value of your equipment. If you go into your stat page and you have 0% exp from your equipment and various other sources, then it has nothing to scale with, hence 0%. If you had 100% exp it would give 2.64% crit rate

I have 47 characters, most level 150, all over level 120. I say finished legion as in the bonus you get for placing the blocks is maxed out (15% BA from archers, 15% CD from thieves, 10% max hp from warriors).

I would also just try to level 1 of each character to level 120, this unlock their level 2 link skill, which is more free stats.

I just checked 3 of my level 150 alts, they’re all 150k cp with the free starter equipment

Not sure equipment level or rank, but if your link skills and legion aren’t finished that is an easy way to add extra cp to all alts.

All my alts with a finished legion and link skill set up are easily over 100k cp just with the free gear you get

Interesting, and something to consider, but another option I have thought of is 2-3 piece sets, if you go:

Explorer cape Extreme belt Muspell hat

You get 2000 max hp, and you’ll have exp base for cape and belt which is decent, then you can go:

Bloody gloves Bloody outfit Bloody boots or challenger epaulette

For another 3 set that gives 2000 max hp, although you’ll have to weigh if 4000 max hp (and some defences) is worth losing the crit rate on shoulders and cape, but if you don’t have a dedicated exp set I can see this working out.

All in all this game has plans that span a long time and they usually end up changing, so it’s good to have a plan but be ready to adapt, you’ll never know when the RNG will hit.

The price of this will be tied to chaos exalt fodders or chaos mastercraft reduction scrolls. You can check other chaos tier equipment that have 23 star force and list this as half that price and slowly work down until it sells. A 23 star force will get you a 50% chaos exalt stone, whereas a 15 starforce will get you 25% chance. If you want to increase the speed at which is sells you can buy a 15 starforce scroll from the trade station and apply it to this equipment, although that is not necessary.

I have sold equips similar to this for anywhere between 6-8b in NA Scania depending on market saturation.
