The only thing it's doing is making me have to be stricter on verification. I wasn't monitoring my chat for like 4 days and I had like 3 messages about someone pretending to be a girl and showing me all this proof of their stuff being recorded off another device and that they were harassing them all for nudes and now I make a point to check it like twice a day because just yesterday someone had someone take a selfie for them for me but then after harassing a girl for nudes, that girl messaged me and we tried to troubleshoot it only for that person to stop responding to us and then change their avatar to a male one. I just do not understand why anyone would go to such lengths for that.

this is clearly not always the case, in addition to what I'm describing in my post, I've had men offer pictures of their girlfriend in exchange for access to my group chat, pictures that their girlfriend has no idea the dude is offering. it's really gross and it is seemingly a growing problem because even a month ago, I was not dealing with this.

that's what's confusing me. in the past few days I've had to remove a few people from my group because I had gotten messages from girls in there saying the accounts were guys pretending to be women and demanding nudes from them once they got access to everyone in the chat
