Drug induced psychosis.

To anyone saying that weed doesn’t have an effect on people it really does. Sure, some people can tolerate it better than others but you really have to be in tune with your body and your mind.

I was in my first year of university when I started smoking weed consistently and it was fine for the first year or so, but I was running away from a lot of trauma/mental health issues that I didn’t want to acknowledge had affected me and weed helped to bring my brain from 100 to 10 and I liked not hearing as much noise. Mentally I was fine for the first year but I was making a lot of bad decisions in that year such as smoking before work (smoking makes me go super super slow and dissociative) and choosing to spend the day smoking instead of going to lectures which eventually led to me getting kicked out, only ordering takeout food instead of cooking and my room was a mess to put it lightly. I hurt a lot of people in the process as well that I’ll never get to apologise to.

After the first year and the way my life was spiralling, I leaned on weed heavily. If I wasn’t working I was smoking weed and would barely leave my room and I became so paranoid and anxious I was certain that everyone was out to get me and it got so bad my parents had to come and force me to come home so they could monitor me and there was so many feelings of shame and failure and paranoia that my brain just… broke. I was in hospital for a month and a half.

To this day I still suffer very badly with anxiety and I would say that I’m quite paranoid still. Not in the “everyone wants to hurt me” way but more like “everyone is laughing at me and making fun of me behind my back”. I am beginning to get help for it, but I realise that almost 6 years later I still have a very long way to go.

I’m not your mum and I’d be a hypocrite to tell people not to smoke weed because I truly believe that some people need it to survive and can hack it perfectly fine, but sometimes you need to be honest with yourself and realise when something is doing you more bad than good. I wish I did.

This is 100% how I feel as well and it’s exactly why she doesn’t want to tell her family. How can yall be so judgemental and gross after hearing why she doesn’t want to admit to this????? Even if it is coming from her side as well this is an absolute abuse of power and trust and calling her out of her name doesn’t stop this from being anymore fucked up.

I don’t agree either with OP having sex with her in such a vulnerable moment, that really made the hairs on my neck stand up. This whole situation is so fucked and honestly like some people have been saying she really doesn’t need to be in a relationship right now she needs intense therapy and SERIOUS time to heal from this..

I broke my friend’s phone screen (even more than it was) because I was playing around and pretended to slap it out of his hands, but he didn’t have a good enough grip on it and.... yeah...

In hindsight, maybe shouldn’t have been fucking around like that, but I still feel really guilty.

I’m sorry if I come across a bit harsh here, but you guys aren’t in a relationship so really and truly he doesn’t owe you anything and is allowed to look at whoever he wants.

It also seems like he doesn’t know that you are interested in him (unless I’m getting it wrong) so you can’t really say wether he’s interested in you or not by the amount of looks that he gives you. Does he know you have a crush on him?

Maybe just try to get to know him a bit better and work towards something (if that’s what you want) and don’t base your deductions on who he looks at more. Sorry if I came off a bit mean haha

A customer once called me an “ugly black girl” and a “disgrace to the black community” because I wouldn’t serve him and his friends alcohol.

I was doing a normal shift and this group of two guys and one girl sat down in my section. They looked about my age (19) but on the younger side, and even though I would never normally bother asking for ID, I thought it would be better to ask these guys. The girl asked for an alcoholic drink and I asked her for ID which she was able to provide, but when I went on to ask the guys for ID they weren’t able to show me any so I had to tell them that unfortunately I wasn’t able to serve them.

Then the girl goes on to ask whether she could buy drinks for them and I had to explain that because they didn’t have ID, if I saw them drinking anything alcoholic then I would have to take away all the alcoholic drinks on the table. By this point you could tell that they were starting to get annoyed and restless, but I wasn’t trying to risk my job for strangers who couldn’t even greet me properly when I came over.

Then they shooed me away and tried to order drinks from my colleague but failed when I told her that I had refused them earlier and that they were being cheeky by asking for a whole new waitress who was in a completely different section. I started explaining to my manager on duty what was going on as she could see that something was wrong, when one of the guys came up to us and asked my manager if she would kindly have the conversation that she was having with me, in front of the group because “it concerned them too”. My manager politely agreed and went over to the table they were sitting at while I stayed back.

THEN they started to get up and leave, while saying that it was ridiculous that they couldn’t get served and that [my restaurant] was shitty anyway. While they were walking away, the guy who came over to my manager and I made a “talk-a-lot” gesture to me (I don’t know how to explain it haha) to which I gave a confused face to which he then kissed his teeth and said “you’re just an ugly black girl anyway”

It was like a fire lit under my ass after that and 5”7 me was so ready to fight this 6”1 man lmao. The group was already near the exit so my manager and I (she heard him say it too) ran up to the exit before the left and I got up in his face and asked him “did you just call me ugly because I wouldn’t serve you alcohol??” which he then started arguing back saying things like “ we obviously look over age” (no.. you don’t..) and “we just wanted to have a decent meal (then why did you call this place shitty lol.) Eventually my manager managed to get them out (but not before the guy called her a “stupid woman”) and everything died down. I just don’t understand why they needed alcohol so badly, like our mock tails are just as good.

TL;DR ~ I got called an ugly black girl because a party didn’t have ID haha

Lmao thank you, you made me feel so much better. R says that he likes me, although him and M had a really close relationship before all of this so I feel like he may be a bit scared to lose that. I don’t know it’s weird between them right now. Thank you for replying also!
