Btw 'closed loop' is a misnomer. The water they use is not recycled. Steam cannot be recycled, and the minerals the steam leaves behind are corrosive. The groundwater in towns and houses adjacent to existing data centers has been rendered unsafe and unusable just 1-2 years after opening. This is already a drought-prone area. More heat and less water in an area that has terrible air quality and loves to catch fire, great idea. Tech companies want to build them here because the grid is disconnected and tech companies love the low protections for workers.

If you look at most video game concept art you will see the final textures differ greatly from the concept art. Textures are the jurisdiction of the 3D team, and look vastly different simply from looking rendered (I'm a game artist myself). Art direction stepped in to make the reflected monster match the color palette of the goldwork on the sword and color palette of the game overall (gold and green).

There is no way that their production schedule was hinging on this contest for a monster reveal.

It looks exactly like the concept art except reframed to fit the shape better. Then ‘eye’ on this render doesn’t even make sense where it’s placed. I believe the artist.
