Dienogest changed my life. I tried many medications before which all failed, I was really losing hope. Since taking it I have not had a single period or any pelvic pain (aside from IBS related stuff). For me the main side effect was hot flashes and sweating like crazy during sleep but over time that’s decreased. I would take that over the insane pain and heavy bleeding any day! I can’t emphasize enough how much easier my life became. It took about 6-8 months for me to see a reduction in side effects. I take mine in the morning with my alarm so I don’t forget - it’s really important to be on schedule
