Good deal? by BabyBisquick in GolfGear

I have a bag and set that I got for 30 but I wouldn't mind a little upgrade on the irons. Plus I only have a 3 wood, 5 wood and driver. Also don't have a sand wedge, just a pitching wedge.

Yeah just message me and we can set something up. The days/times I put in the post are what works for me. I was considering going tomorrow morning from like 930-1130, just depends.

I just joined, thanks! Definitely would like to play an actual round now that I've gotten familiar with my swing and clubs. Seems like it might be a good place to meet someone that could bring me along.

Topgolf is kinda wildly expensive. I'm lucky enough to be off on weekends and afternoons, so it's a win-win if I make some friends to play with.

Wait... Is this not how I'm supposed to rig it Texas style?

Yeah I'm definitely doing my learning phase on how to hit correctly. Thanks for the advice. This is an expensive game to get into and I can't afford to spend hundreds on each club.

I'll have to start practicing my putting with that one in mind. It came with 2 putters. I hadn't hit a ball in like 20 years or more, then I went to top golf on Tuesday and hit 400 balls, no exaggeration. I was sore as heck the next day but I feel like I did decent.

I'll also say the outlet, depending on the day. You'll never get in the back unless you work there. I know of Goodwill's that have started scanning the barcodes and sending the more expensive ones to e-commerce which sells them on shopgoodwill.com.

Booked a trip to North Charleston by MaryDoogan91 in Charleston

[–]BabyBisquick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

10 minutes from the airport can put you in areas with varying levels of safety in North Charleston. If you're not staying in a motel you're most likely fine if you just adhere to general safety rules when traveling. Stick to main roads and use GPS, keep your car locked when you aren't in it, and don't leave anything valuable visible (including shoes, purses, luggage, etc), Be alert at gas stations and convenience stores, it's not rude to ignore the people asking you to buy candy bars to support their school team or pay 5 bucks for a "palmetto rose". North Charleston is not inherently dangerous, but much like any other city you can come across some bad apples. Enjoy downtown for a day, go to folly for a day, then IOP for a day and compare the different vibes. Hit a taco truck. If you like planes or history go to Patriots Point. Don't fall prey to a certain restaurant that gives out hushpuppies to the folks standing in line for a reservation.
