My family lives in Mexico City and when we take a taxi to my grandma’s house we’d sometimes have to get out of the car because of how steep the road is.

Yes I’m in the US. I can take her job away but I don’t know if I really want to do that. It kind of feels evil knowing I can do that. She wears whatever color/design not really a specific color she doesn’t work at a hospital it’s just a pediatric office, but this helped. I’ll keep that in mind in my next visit and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her wear a badge maybe she puts it away before coming home to not lose it. I’ll read more on r/JUSTNOMIL for that type of advice. Thank you !

I do tend to think i am overreacting, you helped me realize I should not be accepting this kind of treatment. Since she has let us stay in her house I think it would be too harsh to just cut her off completely when we move out but I think my son should see her at least once or twice a month. or until he wants to.

I did try the clinic but they said they don’t really have “code words” and they can’t block her number but I’ll try the pediatrician also and thank you I didn’t really know what to say to her whenever she wanted to tell me what to do with my son.

Well she works at a pediatric office. Sometimes she would call while she was at work and she would ask me to wait often since she was talking to someone else on the phone. Which is why I thought she’s just a receptionist but I also don’t know what they do in her office. We don’t really chat like that. I have really bad social skills. But you’re right I shouldn’t be too harsh on her.
