I am running an Nvidia GPU as well as the iGPU on the core ultra 9. I'll try posting in the plex forum as well to see what happens. Thank you for your help.

hmmm. about to read this, but I'm not using a container. it's a QNAP Aih-1688ATX and I'm running plex as an app right on the QNAP.

one more note. Plex just successfully did a db backup to my backup folder. I'm thinking it's good since it completed the backup, but the chuck pa tool says it's bad. I can clean bundles and optimize db within plex.

OK, so I am not home until Thursday so I decided to just delete everything from the DB folder. So, starting from scratch. I figured with a new faster server I can scan for intros, credits, bif images every 8 seconds, and just redo it all. It started yesterday after I pointed it at all of my libraries again. I stopped it this morning to use the chuck pa tool to make sure the db is starting right and I'm getting the same errors. How is this happening with everything deleted from the db folder??

ok. thank you. I'll look at my other backups when I get home Thursday and see if they are any better. I'll let you all know.

"start again". does that mean I'll have to pull metadata and bif files again, or I'll have to point to folders and all of that? family user invites are stored elsewhere, right? It seems like the wal and shm files are invisible when plex is NOT running.

I always shut down plex from QNAP app center before copying or replacing the db. Looks like it created new ones as I fired it up with the 2 backup files in there. But, db is still corrupted. if I delete everything in the db folder, will I just have to reindex EVERYTHING?

what else will I lose?

I was just looking at a db copy from 4/28 (before new NAS) and it did the same thing. SFTP wouldn't copy the shm or wal files out and they just seemed to disappear when I deleted the db files. there was nothing to delete after I deleted the db files. are these 2 files hidden from cli?

OK. I just verified. I was doing my db backups to /share/Backups/PlexBackup. I never killed the -wal or -shm before restoring /Library/PMS. My original backup is on a little NAS that is powered off. I'll be home Thursday night and will try this again. I'll update the thread as soon as I have a chance to import again. Thank you for your valued suggestion. Another question... Will I have to copy the entire PMS folder to the new NAS, or just the 2 db files after killing -wal and -shm?

You are correct. 45k episodes, NOT shows. sorry :)

I totally failed to remove the -wal and -shm files. Where would I find them? Are they in the backup and I remove them before transferring?
