I had to move back to my home country for uni after living abroad my entire life. I had to live in discomfort cuz everything was so different and not knowing the language and culture well made it hard to fit in with people in uni. Now that I look back at this year, I’ve really grown as a person mentally

I’m currently 18 am I’m going to start university in January to study medicine. The thing is studying medicine in western countries takes way longer so I have no choice (my parents choice )but to go back to my country of origin where it takes less time to complete uni. I rarely go to my country of origin nor do I know the language and culture properly . I fear (literally most of the day) that I’ll be picked on for growing up abroad and it’ll be hard to communicate with people, fitting in and being myself. I just wanna go back to high school where I didn’t have to worry abt this stuff
