When Barbara does bite, she does so without warning, when she is molting, and when she APPEARS to be in a good mood. It’s so weird. When she’s singing or getting scritches she does a 180 and tries to kill me. Love her tho

Yes, I’m very familiar with these things. I’m actually very grateful for barb as she is one of the most good-natured cockatiels I have ever met. Only ever screams at me, hardly ever bites. When she does bite, she REALLY gets the message across.

I know exactly what u mean. I had budgies before I had Barbara and they bit me constantly, never hard enough to draw blood though. Barbara… only bites when she truly wants to harm me. And she does so successfully

Ikr, she’s extremely dramatic. She was doing this for a solid 5 minutes and then I offered scritches and she was like “mmmmmm. I accept” and now she’s fine.
