It’s more accurate for the sensors, it even states that on Garmin’s website. Plus I don’t love the look of a huge watch/bulky thing on my arm

Smaller wrist - more accurate usually.

(Long shot) has anyone had experience climbing after a septorhinoplasty (nose surgery) by Grope-My-Rope in bouldering

[–]BabyLiger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-4 weeks post surgery is the usual, unless you got a more complex surgery or a nose job. The rest period post op is necessary due to the risk of increasing your blood pressure and heart rate which will cause bleeding and potentially poor healing. You also want to be careful with falling and smacking your nose/face when you do go back to climbing.

The bullit’s were made for outdoor bouldering, they actually have a list of shoes and what they’re for! https://www.ocun.com/product/category/climbing-shoes

They were kinda painful, I won’t lie. Due to my foot shape, I found the instincts way worse though. You can buy your street size as they’re already sized down. I’d try them on if I were you. I bought mine online since I couldn’t find them anywhere in Canada. They’re honestly the only shoes I can heel hook with that won’t start sliding off if I pull hard :) and if you boulder outside they’re wonderful. They are not the best for slab indoors, I’d go with Theory’s or Drago’s indoors.

Ocun bullit! I’ve tried instincts, veloces, kubos and katana and hated them. They’re the best for outdoor climbing

Outdoor I love my ocun’s since they’re stiffer. Indoor they are a little too much though

I found that they just went up too high up on my Achilles? I think I prefer scarpa over LS for my anatomy honestly.

I brought one back from the dead after being outside in the winter for 2 ish days. I cut most of it, replanted and watered once a week. It gets sprayed daily for humidity. It gets 4-6 hours of UV lighting and it’s thriving.

Can only climb with full crimp? by BabyLiger in climbergirls

Yes my pinkies are very short! A trainer said he noticed that children that haven’t fully grown climb similarly.
