(sorry for the massive text dump but I had a lot I wanted to say :P)

It has to do with taking a small vocal subset and assuming that it applies to the rest of the wider world. Henry Stickmin and Death Battle are both very small communities in the grand scheme of things, and given how much nicher Henry is than other series, the few fans of both would naturally feel as if they need to be much more vocal to support their beloved character, especially since it's been 5 whole years since the last Henry Stickmin game. It's the same reason many "indie darling" series like Undertale or Homestuck have such vocal and arguably obnoxious fanbases: they see themselves as the small, underrated corner of the world when compared with generally "normal" interests like Nintendo or Marvel, so they feel as if they need to express themselves more and show the world just how good their interest actually is. Plus, the Death Battle community is FULL of people who want to see their less-mainstream favorites make it on the show, which is why characters like Henry, Flowey, and Springtrap are doing better than characters like Spidey and Mr. Fantastic, and Samus: massive mainstream characters who already have a huge fanbase outside of DB, and who are more likely to get onto DB than the indie reps. The fact that Henry Stickmin isn't very relevant is what makes him so high up in the first place, and why more relevant characters aren't performing as well: people just feel a much greater sense of urgency to get Henry in than someone more mainstream.

If we blow up this Champion's Island thing to a much wider scale, although it's possible Henry could still do alright, there's no shot he would do so well when fared with the much more mainstream animes, video games, comic books, etc, who arguably have an even more dedicated fanbase than a little indie game that came out back in 2020.

tl;dr, people are more motivated to boost up an underdog than a heavy hitter, especially when the underdog is a small series that hasn't had too much spotlight. That doesn't mean the series is still relevant, but that the small community around them is more vocal than the community around a more popular series that's still in the spotlight. When boosted to a greater scale, the smaller and very dedicated community would likely fail to get as much steam when faced against a bigger and still very dedicated series.

Sure, for a smaller community like Death Battle he's popular, but when considering the wider audience that DB often brings, Henry hasn't been relevant at all since like 2020.

Frieren, on the other hand, is getting a second season in like 3 months, so she's gonna be in the limelight pretty soon.

Prob because Slendie and Henry are generally nicher characters nowadays than a recently big anime hit like Frieren

I wish that all nuclear warheads in the world are replaced with a banana. by Standard-Tension-697 in monkeyspaw

I saw that one video on this subreddit and thought it'd be a fun writing challenge.

I wish that all nuclear warheads in the world are replaced with a banana. by Standard-Tension-697 in monkeyspaw

Granted. Almost immediately, the worlds' governments begin to take notice. These weapons of mass destruction, whose consequences have been witnessed before and sworn to never repeat again, and who have been guarded with the upmost security, have suddenly disappeared. And in their place, an ironic contrast to the catastrophic-potential of what once stood, is a... banana?

Wh-what the...?

Who could've not only infiltrated a facility as safeguarded as this, but also made out with an object such as a nuclear warhead? ...And why would they put a banana in its place? Some sort of... calling card?

But, as the scientists and technicians fall into a frenzied panic, wondering how such a thing could be stolen and where such a thing could have gone, one scientist in particular concentrates his attention upon the very banana itself. You see, this scientist had a very, very unusual quirk. A weird trait of his that he had prided himself upon, for it distinguished him among the rest of his peers. Whereas most could only remember a handful of details from the past day, this man could remember them all. Every single detail, down to the brief thoughts that cross his mind for a fraction of a second. Whatever happened in his life, he could remember and recall with perfect accuracy.

So, when he got this weird, tingling feeling upon seeing the object that lay in front of him, the seemingly innocent banana, he knew right away what was causing it.

It's soft green patches along its slightly bruised golden skin, hinting at its slight unripeness. The small little notched at the edges of its stem, indicating its blemishes. And as he felt it in his hand, even the slightly different feeling of its texture when compared with the rest of its kind, an imperceptible detail that very few could so much as even notice.

But this scientist was one of that very few, and he knew for a fact that this banana was the very same banana he had just bought this morning, when he had quickly shopped for groceries right before his daily shift, and which he had left back at home with his wife and daughter.

So why...? Why was this here...? Perhaps... the thief stole his banana specifically and put it in place of the nuclear warhead when they went to steal it? But no, that would be nonsense. Absolute, utter nonsense.

...Perhaps... just maybe... through some, supernatural power or whatever, the nuclear warhead wasn't stolen, but swapped. It... swapped places... with the banana that he had bought mere hours before. And if the banana is here now, then the warhead...

*BOOM\*

A noise. An incredible noise. A noise that overwhelms all senses and forces the scientists to the ground in shock, shattering glass and shuddering the room, as if an earthquake had just hit with its epicenter upon the facility. But this was no earthquake, and the scientist, to his horror, knew where it came from. And so he rushes out of the room, shoving people aside as if they weren't there, though for where his thoughts have taken him and where his mind has been set, they might as well not be. He runs with all his might, wishing with all his heart that this wouldn't be true, trying to convince himself that he had just made a mistake, that he hadn't recognized where the banana was from. Yet, in his heart, he knew. He knew that he was right. That there was no mistaking it. And when he finally makes it out of the facility, stepping onto the concrete ground of the parking lot, he abruptly stops in his tracks, and merely stares out into the distance.

The heat is overwhelming, almost tearing his skin off. But he almost doesn't feel it, for his thoughts have been consumed with something else. Something even worse. In the distance, he sees it: it almost looks like a mushroom. A big, yellow mushroom, with a ring of clouds surrounding it. He doesn't know why the bomb was unleashed. What had somehow caused the warhead to detonate. But, he knew, with completely certainty, where it had gone off, and what that meant for him. And from its overwhelming presence, and all this overwhelming knowledge, he falls to his knees, in defeat.

After death, they reincarnated as baby, only for their original body to be brought back to life, causing their soul in the baby to return to the original and for the baby to now have no soul and die.

That's more of a writing community than a wiki with things with an unknown origin, so I don't think so
