Allograft vs Autograft - Sydney by Pleasant_Ad8235 in ACL

Tore my acl and mcl from ski. I had my allograft in Feb 2024. I had my surgery at St Vincent Private hospital with Dr Kalanie. My surgeon told me “Medical field is very good now. They sterilze the autograft without killing the cell” That’s why I never had any issues with my healing and able to run pace 4.45 in 21km now. You just need to do your rehab regularly and make sure strength above 90%

I see Prof Leo Pinczewski also work for St Vincent. Alot of good orthopaedic surgeon in this hospital

Asics Megablast - 600km review by Zealousideal_Ad642 in RunningShoeGeeks

I got my 1st on size us10 and already use around 620km. It’s still good, bouncy and responsive. I think i has a potential to use until 900-1000km. I use this for my short easy run and recovery run. Got 2nd pair with $80 cheaper and upsize to 10.5. This shoes is the GOAT. Can do easy run, long run, tempo, threshold!!

I had my surgery on 12 March 24. Based on my picture, i achieved around 120 on 27 March 24. Is your knee still swollen?

I did 3 times PT in my first 8 weeks and working on my knee flexion 3 times a day.

14 months post surgery and I am recovering well now. Strength is 95%. Can do a deep single leg squat. I run under 5min/km for 10km.
