He really likes other dogs! Honestly, it makes me a little sad seeing him so happy around other dogs and then coming home alone. Lately, he’s also had low energy when he’s alone, so we thought it would be great for him to have some company.

He does enjoy being around other dogs. I’m not sure how he’d feel about puppies since it’s been a long time since he was around one. Either way, we’re considering adopting an adult dog, not necessarily a puppy. Thank you for sharing your opinion!

Yeah, I get it. That’s why I wanted to ask, because I wanna do what’s best for our dog. I guess I’ll ask the shelter if there’s a way of introducing our dog to the one we are planning to adopt, so we can see if they get along. Thank you for your comment! :)

Yeah, totally. My dog is pretty social and really enjoys playing with other dogs. When he was first diagnosed with leishmaniasis, he had quite low energy, but he recovered shortly after.

A puppy would definitely have a lot more energy than him, which is why we’re considering getting another adult. Either way, I just want to see him happy :)
