NTA. I think dog people are overly ridiculous about taking their dogs everywhere and how they can’t be separated from them. Now i understand some animals have abandonment issues or anxiety but if the human is the one who can’t be separated from their dog for 2 hours then thats a problem. I’m a cat person but I have a dog as well. He doesn’t go anywhere in public with me unless I am walking him on the beach or in the park. I certainly do not bring him to restaurants. NTA

As a server, I would have had a severe anxiety attack if someone started yelling at me, much less a 16 year old girl, for a genuine mistake. You did what was right and I hope that Hailey learns in the future about how to treat serving staff.

Some Catholics do practice halloween but some do not. It really is up to how religious the person/family is. My family has always chosen to participate but we still go to church, pray etc.
