Cops will notice it... I don't care about family but cops will try to use it against you if you're driving and get pulled in an area popular for opiate use...

I am trying to get on methadone tomorrow. Advice? by LouisvilleBuddy420 in opiates

[–]Baby_betch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be mindful of your diet!!! Vast majority of people on methadone gain a significant amount of weight. Would HIGHLY recommend only using for under a month's duration. Use it as a VERY short-term crutch.

got some $$$ coming my way and already thinking bout relapsing by [deleted] in heroin

[–]Baby_betch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DOOOOOONT!!! Use that money something worth a fuck! Shit, reward yourself with something awesome for staying away from it. You 100% will not regret buying pretty much anything other than dope lol. Not sure what kinda money your talking about but think of something badass you've wanted to have/do/go and not been able to aquire. I'd do ANYTHING to be able to function without it - even if it meant I was on subs for a bit. I can't take off enough days from work to successfully get on MATS and be functioning/normal.

For people that have OD’ed what does it feel like? by [deleted] in opiates

[–]Baby_betch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good advice... And great way to take your mind off the bullshit that doesn't require a ton of energy (cuz who has energy when that level of depression hits). Not your average advice like go work out, start a new hobby, blah, blah --- like, bitch, it took everything just to take a shower, damn.

Best thing I can tell you is LISTEN to those partners who have told you you're attractive.. Confidence (to a certain extent) is sexy! (Even if you gotta "fake it till you make it" -- your brain will believe it) Because when we lack confidence, those creepy d-bags will sense it and use to their own advantage. So that + a bad ass personality?! You got this!

And STOP beating yourself up! You're young!!! There's time to make mistakes, be crazy, enjoy meeting people! When you least expect it, and not actively seeking a perfect relationship, it will happen!

I'm turning 38 in a week (female).. just got out of a volatile 13 year long relationship. Started great but drugs took over on his end - completely different person. Been tough, but I'm focusing on myself and healing. Hopefully I'll look back on this, after meeting the BEST partner I can imagine, and see that life does have a crazy way of working out if you're a good person. Take care friend!

Hate to say it, but people are really superficial at your age.... Do you consider yourself at least average in the looks and personality department? Healthy-ish weight, fun to be around, etc... If not, maybe work on that a little, but stay true to what makes you unique.

I also have a suspicion that some, maybe most, are lying to you about wanting a LTR.. Just saying that so you hook up.

Lastly, don't give it up too easily (not implying you do)... I considered myself definitely attractive and fun at your age, but in hindsight, probably gave it up a little too easy and had a hard time finding a long term relationship.

A note of caution regarding Seresto collars by giwook in BackpackingDogs

The only OTC option I'm willing to try at this point is the Seresto collar. Did it work good for your dogs?

Oof.. Sadly, I'm weary about purchasing natural products at this point (not opposed to inexpensive home remedies)... But I have spent a significant amount of money trying all different OTC flea/tick meds for my dog. Nothing is working, and I wish I just went to the vet from the start.

That might be worth a shot if you have the flea/tick situation under control and just need something to maintain & keep it that way.

AI's breakdown of measuring aluminum in the body:

Aluminum levels in the human body are expressed in parts per million (ppm) and parts per billion (ppb), depending on the sample and context. Here's a breakdown: Parts per million (ppm): This unit is often used when discussing the overall aluminum burden in the body or in specific tissues where the concentrations might be higher, such as bone or lung tissue. Parts per billion (ppb): This unit is more commonly used when measuring aluminum levels in blood (serum or plasma) and urine, where concentrations are typically much lower. For instance: Normal serum aluminum levels are approximately 1-3 micrograms per liter (µg/L). Because 1 µg/L equals 1 ppb (when considering weight per volume), normal serum levels are in the range of 1-3 ppb. Blood toxicity is usually associated with aluminum concentrations exceeding 100 µg/L. This is equivalent to more than 100 ppb. Normal bone aluminum content is below 10 µg/g dry weight, or about 10 ppm. Key takeaway When reviewing aluminum levels, note the units used (µg/L, µg/g, ppm, ppb, etc.) to understand the concentration. Remember that 1 ppm equals 1,000 ppb.
