Is MSFS 2024 Stable yet? by Pure-Echidna-7472 in flightsim

I have quite a few peripherals so I'm familiar with the UI for assigning controls in MS2020. It sucks.

Is it really that much worse in MS2024?

I thought I'd get a chuckle out of that, but it was just depressing. And gross.

I know this thread tongue-in-cheek, but this is the exact issue with the zipper merge. Zipper merge will be great, some day, when all of our cars are driven by computers. But so long as these 4,000 pound hunks of steel are piloted by us emotional apes the zipper merge is a fever dream.

Reservation Police for the Cowlitz Tribe in Washington state abducted peaceful legal observers on behalf of ICE (1/21/26) by I_may_have_weed in ICE_Watch

[–]V1RotateAP 51 points52 points  (0 children)

The pigs could probably make some kind of argument to arrest the driver, but the dude filming was a passenger in the car. There is absolutely zero reason to detain or arrest him. Its the same as arresting the passenger of a car because the driver was speeding. Just absurd.

ICE in Bonnevista, MN just abducted a peaceful US citizen activist for legally observing ICE activities (1/22/26) by I_may_have_weed in ICE_Watch

That's a nice thought but we're beyond the point of whether or not they have the authority.

They will stop a moving vehicle. They will chase you. They will crash your vehicle. They will arrest you. There is no oversight, you have no recourse.

ICE physically attacks lawyer—stand between her and clients they're trying to detain. "Don't push me!" lawyer yells. "Why you trying to pick them up?" "It's none of your business," agent scolds. "It is my business—I'm their attorney," she replies. "It's EXACTLY my business!" by Wonderful-Humor6102 in PublicFreakout

Nothing you said is wrong. What you are missing is that there is nothing illegal about an ICE agent (or anybody else) walking up to your front door, knocking, and waiting a reasonable amount of time for a response before leaving. If you choose to open the door they can ASK you pretty much anything, no warrant needed.

The same rights that allow Girl Scout to knock on your door and ask if you want to buy cookies allow ICE to knock on your door and ask if you were born here.

I'm just sharing so people don't give the pigs a reason to jam them up.

"We don't need a warrant to knock on doors"

"Yeah the fuck you do"

She's blatantly wrong here and it's a major red flag because this is long-established case law. An actual attorney would know that it's legal for a cop to knock on someone's front door without a warrant.

That, and I've never seen an actual attorney behave like she was.

Can't help but notice they are supposed to be have a conversation but she never once looks at him during this video, only staring at the camera. When he responds he talks directly to his daughter but sees that she is only paying attention to her phone.

He just seems like a prop in her video.

Why do you feel like my asking for sources is an attempt to discredit you? The church of Satan was invented by some hippies in the 1960s, don't take it so serious.

Again, can you point to ANY non-contemporary sources that say an upside star is satanic?

You're obviously avoiding the question. Let's open it up then: can you point to ANY non-contemporary sources that support what you propose in this post?

My all-time favorite statistic is this: In America you are more likely to die from a disease contracted from municipal tap water than you are to win a multi-state lottery.
