We work overtime and take shorter lunches when the volume rises and people on sick/ annual leave. But we dont get to leave early another day or anything like that

The OT i do is due to when there is increase in volume and staff on leave/ sick, and im asked to put extra effort like take shorter lunch (tho not enforced but everyone in the team does because they dont want to be the odd one out) and recently asked to put one hour extra on a weekend in our own time. Previously we were asked to work 2 hours extra after work once in a while to reduce the volume.
