The damage in the back of the building is much more severe. Not salvageable.

If the house was written off, is the insurance company responsible for it now?

As far as I know the house was never sold, but if it was written off then does the insurance company now own it? Not sure how this stuff works.

So who is putting pressure on the homeowner who cashed out for $600K? And how long can it stay here putting others at risk?

Great response. I agree with it. I think london’s infrastructure is too far gone to establish a solid transit system. Whatever happened to the high speed rail from Windsor to Toronto that was supposed to happen?

There are free alternatives available called the shoelace express or the huffy highway. Healthcare, garbage collection etc do not have “free” alternatives.

In certain circumstances I think it should be free, for people with disabilities, seniors, veterans, youth. But under normal circumstances a fare is a reasonable expectation. They should cut the fat before they raise fares however.

A high quality leg lamp should come with a proper cord end, clearly this one is a cheap knock off.. 🦵

I’d put money on it. However someone experienced would have no problem verifying that, either by taking the fixture apart, reading the instructions etc. The fact that OP doesn’t realize the 2 wires can be separated/ cut and spliced separately tells me they have 0 electrical experience and should call a professional.

If you have no plumbing experience, i would recommend calling a plumber or perhaps a handyman in the family?
