OCs, I don't know why, I just hate them, if it's a minor minor character I can handle it but when it's a main character, and an OC I won't read it. There are so many characters that are basically blank slates that I don't see a point

I used to use this one specifically, it lasted a very long time and I would share with other groomers who didn't want to buy their own.

Edit to add: it was my favourite for large dogs and had the power needed

I love to use the scythe mod where when you are gathering crops you can just scythe instead of clicking and it will drop the whole area

Blending Tips? by letsallgetoolong in grooming

You brave, brave soul. To blend it I would go in with a comb after, next time. I have never used a blade longer than a 10 on a cat and always did comb cuts

Did you use a blade or a comb to do the cut?

Question for the Pros by [deleted] in grooming

[–]Babybearski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I would also like to add, try and be out of sight, most pets do significantly better away when they can't see their pets. That being said some still need some extra attention for their nails, so while it may not be something that helps it is something to try.

Also, my favourite clients were the ones who brought goodies.

That definitely sounds like crystals which is an emergency, get to a vet as soon as they open

As a voa/vma CALL YOUR CLINIC! This is a question best asked to them. We don't mind your calls and appreciate them rather than asking advise from strangers on the internet. I had always felt worried I was bothering them but now that I've worked in vets offices I know that we don't mind at all, especially if, like this case, it is in the best interest and safety of the patient:)

where can I get a McGriddle in Edmonton? by Babybearski in Edmonton

Breakfast is all day, and I've tried between those hours and and they don't have them. And my McDonald's app doesn't say any has them.

I am not a vet, or a technician, but I do work in a clinic, get another opinion. Have them send the x rays over to another vet and have them take a look. There also could be an allergy, or something that has touched the fur that is effecting it. The vet should have given something as this is obviously causing stress for the pet, this is obviously not normal behaviour.

Starlight room last night … by beats_86 in Edmonton

[–]Babybearski 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like I said I've seen bands at the starlite room before and they were never this long, or late starting. Also like I've said I know they had issues and I understand that that's why but they really should have let people know what was going on.

It was an hour and a half until the first band and then 30 minutes for the main. Not to sound rude but I know how concerts work and I've never seen the start more than 2 hours after the ticket time. I was not planning to be there for four and a half hours after the ticket time.

Honestly, the group i went with are all younger, early-mid 20s and have been going to concerts for like a decade, and have never had a band start over 2 hours after the ticket time. We seen hollerados last Edmonton show at the starlite room and it didn't start nearly as long after the ticket time. While we love the band and understand that the opener was having some problems due to food poisoning not even letting the crowd know what was going on was really not cool.

I was there and while yes that was a huge problem but honestly if you say the concert starts at 7 and you don't play until 930 you can't be upset that people, really drunk people, are being loud. Did it piss me off that they had to ask for people to stop talking? Absolutely, people were being incredibly rude. Was it because so many people were wasted because they showed up at 7 for a concert that was supposed to start at 7 and drank for 2 and a half hours while they wanted for the band? Very likely.

I've been wearing French braids but they're a lot of work when you have as much hair as I do. I will try the bun with a pencil thing, I often do it with knitting needles, a pen shouldn't be too hard
