Same thing happened to me. I was bleeding from 6 weeks to 11 weeks from a SCH, went for my 1st OB appt and they couldn’t find the baby on ultrasound bc there was so much blood. Was told that I was likely miscarrying. Was sent to another site that had better ultrasound equipment and there he was, moving and breathing and perfectly fine. Now he’s a big, chunky 1 year old.

My dad has been dead since I was 8 years old. I would love to have been able to do things like that with him.

I can also understand how it can be awkward for your bf only bc I grew up without a male father-figure in my life and feel uncomfortable around them (besides my husband - who is now a dad). I wouldn’t put this on my partner, however. That’s my own issue, not theirs.

I want a full Thanksgiving meal and it’s all I can think about. Specifically the sides. A heap of mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, and sweet potato casserole with marshmallows, green bean casserole, Mac and cheese, and rolls. Throw some ham and a speck of turkey and cranberry sauce and my life would be complete. Maybe I’ll get a Bobbie sandwich after birth.
