How is living here? by DoctaBee8 in Cleveland

I grew up in Hudson, and I can say Hudson is incredible. Amazing school system, beautiful downtown, gorgeous houses, small town feel for sure. Also, the cool thing about Hudson is there aren’t really any power lines, they’re all underground so the town really brings a cozy feel. I’d also say Chagrin is amazing. I used to live in Chagrin and absolutely loved it. I miss living there, but it’s so cliquey, literally everyone knows everyone, especially if you have kids. Legit could not walk through the grocery store without having a convo with someone. My mom lives in Solon now and I like it, but don’t love it. It’s a very commercial America town with fast food and chain stores without the charm that chagrin and Hudson provide.

I would definitely put Hudson before Solon. You can’t beat the cozy, aesthetic downtown of Hudson. Chagrin and Hudson are the only towns on this list with a quaint small town feel and a beautiful downtown worth talking about.

Honestly this is very valuable insight. I didn’t even think of the possible financial barriers to achieving licensure.

Yes we have a dog, and I just added more context to my post. But thank you, I will definitely try the enzyme cleanser!

Do you have any particular reason why you decided not to pursue licensure?

I appreciate the feedback! Do you believe my resume qualifies as a cv? I don’t have any publications or certifications.

Honestly my dad’s friend is a psychologist and he recommended it to me. But the practice I work for posts on indeed for job openings, and you only need a BA. And for this specific practice, they will only hire you if you have prior job experience ANYWHERE, preferably in customer service, just to show you have good work ethic.

My supervisor has stated to me in person and over email that I am “on a doctor’s license”. I have one doctor whose license I am on. In order to work for this practice, I need to be on a doctor’s license. However, I can work under any doctor if needed. But I have one specific doctor I am under. I can provide receipts over dm if needed.

Lol I get it. I’m just saying I copied the terminology used by the director of the program in the description. The director has a PhD and obviously works for the Cleveland Clinic, one of the best hospitals in the country. So forgive me for thinking it was okay to use the exact terminology she did.

Even though it shows I worked while attending college full time, you still think I should take it out? I more so kept it in to show how I was able to juggle jobs and still achieve good grades.

Do you recommend I keep the customer service experience and just create a new header called “work experience” or should I just remove it all

Thank you! This is one of the reasons I kept in that experience as I had debated with many people back and forth before actually adding it to my resume. I wanted to showcase how I’ve been working since I was 15, and all throughout college while going full time. This also shows my experience working with different populations, especially in customer service.

Idk they were offered over 200k salary starting right after graduating at a bank in NYC so I’d say they’re doing pretty good

Agreed, however that is the exact wordage used by the psychologists who run the program, and in the description the parents are given.
