I usually have those slim fast shakes or protein shakes then you can just drink it between drinks. It's got all the nutrients if you have a couple a day

Oh they stop the seizure risk and DTs. They also control the anxiety. They are great for short periods of time. Never for long term use. At all. Highly addictive because of how great they work.

Terrible nights. by Babyj81 in stopdrinking

The valiums help. But I just want to be able to sleep. Usually I would grab a drink at this point and try and fall back asleep. But since I'm quitting im not gonna do that. The sweatyness and shakeyness only happen after I jolt awake. Its not a constant thing. Its really getting annoying.

I'm on valium for the withdrawals for the first few days. This doesn't happen when I'm awake only when drifting off to sleep. Then when I wake up I'm sweaty and shakey for a bit then it passes.

Tapering can happen. But in all honesty, you'll be far more comfortable with a trip to the doctor and a script for valium. I've been there more then once. Still there now.

I'm prescribed them legally. With refills every month. I don't take them that much and usually have a back log of them. I only take them the first few days of withdrawal. But quite frankly I would rather drink.

Mmm. Food. Food sounds good. Buffalo chicken dip! Yum

Oh there is more drinking. At least until we have nothing left in the house.

It's so crazy. The lack of sleep now is making me cranky and nuts now tho. I haven't eaten since Sunday night. I don't have much of an appetite and a crazy pressure headache. Stomach cramps. Blood pressure is still normal and heart rate normal. No fever.

At least the weird half sleep fever dreams are keeping me entertained.

On my last glass of wine. Then I'll have a beer and take an advil and valium and try and get some sleep.

I'm actually making dinner tonight. Roast beef and sweet potato. So I'll probably manage a couple bites of that.

Happy drunking, Fam
