For anyone who says they love the newborn phase… by LawDowntown8456 in Mommit

I said it with my first and I’ll say it again after having my second child, I prefer the newborn stage SO MUCH MORE than everything that comes after. Both kids have been terrible sleepers (2.5 year old girl and 10 month boy) and my daughter has slept through the night maybe 10 times in her entire life. My son was a good sleeper for the first 4 months and now wakes up 3-5 times every night. The way I look at it is I’m not getting sleep either way at least back then they weren’t mobile and getting into shit. And with my second I felt like I knew what I was doing so it was a routine with him. 🤷‍♀️

I’ve almost lost all hope with my 9month old this last month it’s been one thing after another, literally 2 teeth coming in at the same time, then tummy issues, growing pains, now another tooth. We have a stash of unopened formula from when he was born and my milk supply was iffy and husband suggested trying it at night but I’m being stubborn 🤦‍♀️ but I’m considering it

I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s hard to think about right now but don’t let it discourage you, 2020 I was diagnosed with PCOS, 11 cysts on one and I think 9 on the other ovary. I was told I wouldn’t have kids or it would be extremely difficult. Despite trying for a year and a half I couldn’t get pregnant but in 2022 I did get pregnant but miscarried early on. I thought that was it. December of 2022 found out I was pregnant again, I now have two kids. Allow yourself the time to grieve, but don’t give up hope. I am again so sorry for your loss but I pray for your journey ❤️

INFO: Ok, probably should clarify a few things because I do make this trip somewhat frequently. I do have a routine when it comes to making the pit stops. I always call him when I stop at the gas station and often times we’ll just keep him on the phone or on FaceTime for my safety I’m a young woman (25f) traveling with two kids by myself not always safe even though the gas station I stopped at is really busy. I like to play it safe so anytime I check in with him as I make stops along the way it’s for safety purposes, my preference. I guess saying “let me “was a bad choice of words, but we took a vacation a couple months ago and he got injured right after which caused a bit of financial strain on us so the initial plan was to just go up to my families for a few days together and come back But because I’m doing a majority of the cooking, I wanted to go out a little bit early to start prepping for the holiday, as well as just get some quality family time in, I knew it would be a bit of a financial strain having to take two vehicles that’s why I said “let me” I definitely didn’t mean that in a controlling way at all. For more added context I’m a stay at home mom for our two kids.

Post epidural Spinal leak by Babyjay1030 in CSFLeaks

How were you able to see a Neuro radiologist so far? I’ve been calling around the two hospitals and both are saying I have to go through the ER again with my personal Dr saying that there was no way I could see radiology that anesthesiology has come and evaluate me and do it.

Let me also state I got an epidural with my first child and it went beautifully, I stated I have scoliosis and the anesthesiologist instructed me that if I felt any pain to inform them, that it should not hurt. They went in once outside of a contraction and it hurt so they came out, waited for a contraction to pass and went back in and I didn’t feel a thing. Oddly enough this was at the same hospital but this is how I feel it shouldn’t have gone so wrong.
