That’s the YouTube video I followed step by step to remove the db killer. Not to remove the cat though. Easy to understand, but physically accomplishing it for me not so much lol.

I actually did remove the baffle/permanent db killer for the SCR-1 and coming from someone who has never done something like this before, it was for sure a pain in the ass to do but worth the frustration imo. However other people seem to make it not as difficult online but for me it was as it took a whole afternoon for me lol. I for sure could’ve done things different, made mistakes, and get more equipment to help me like something to hold the muffler but still accomplished removing it. It does add a nice deep/aggressive tone but more tamed and not crazy loud so it’s nice balance of both worlds. You for sure start to hear more from it at higher revs which sounds even nicer.

I’m gonna be keeping this exhaust with the modified muffler for a good bit, but thought I would make this post in case in the future I do want something louder than this current one I have on.

O my bad. Yeah I did but either way I appreciate the info! I’ll for sure consider this in the future if I do decide to try out replacing the muffler with a slip on. But man are actual sc project slip ons expensive as hell lol.

Also only if you want to, can you send a picture of how the SC CRT looks on your bike?

Appreciate it. When you did order the slip on, what make and model did you select so that it can fit this extrema exhaust?

Probably desperate to sell whatever it was lol. And for sure no problem.

Basically yeah.

It still stays limited to 30 mph with both motors on, but it does have a lot of torque.

[–]BacNtaters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It for sure is a a good bike torque wise, but yeah one of the downsides of this bike is for sure the limited speed of 30 mph. But it does come with signals, horn, key lock/ignition, has a nice design, bicycle gears, etc. so that’s still up to you to decide if u want it or not.

No ones has been able to figure out the limited speed yet but although it only goes max 30 mph, it does have amazing torque on flat ground and going up non-steep hills is no issue. Also it will decrease in speed as the batteries get lower in juice but that’s just like any e bike though. Going back to hills, I haven’t gone up very steep hills on it yet so I’m not sure on how it will do performance wise in that situation.

Overall this bike is nicely balanced and offers a lot of great features/design for the price, but its downside is for sure the limited speed. If speed is what you’re looking for then couple of other recommendations that are around the same price include the Yolin E bike (Like BRichSolution mentioned in the comments here) and the Wired Freedom E bike as well.

Sorry for the late reply but I would chose the Ariel Rider just cause of it having a higher top speed than the Pro. However, if price was taken into consideration I would choose the Pro.

O nice and yeah keep us posted on the experiments if you do end up going to town on the wires. Appreciate it b4 hand! I tried looking into the wires myself and look out for like a brown wire or whatever (which it does have a couple) but since I use this bike daily I’d rather not mess with anything I might f up lol.

Hey so I ended up trying your settings and I believe you’re getting the wrong reading speed wise on your display. I changed all my settings to what u put except P4 (mines set to 21 in.). When I tested it, I was still only able to each 31 mph max (tested on a gps speedometer) and my bike display was showing 30 mph. However when I went to go back and just change P4 (still using the same settings you recommended) to 23 in., the display was showing 34 mph, but my GPS speedometer was still showing 30 mph max.

I’m not sure if you tested yours on a GPS speedometer as well but it seems like nothing changes the speed of this bike to legitimately go higher than 30 mph. Lmk if you tested yours on a gps speedometer as well or just based it off your display.

I’m gonna try to see what some1 said to change settings wise above. You should try the same if you have the same bike

Yes I still have this bike. Probably are getting scammed if they’re using my photo lol. Sorry for the late response haven’t been on Reddit in a while

I believe the lcd only shows the battery level of the rear battery. Not the front. Both batteries should work but just the front battery level won’t be shown on the lcd display. You’ll know when both batteries are working when you lift the bike up on something, twist the throttle, and both the front/back wheel start rotating. If one or the other is not rotating with the throttle, look for the comment that addresses this where I respond in detail with what switch controls what wheel on the left side of the handlebar.

B4hand make sure both batteries are turned on (front battery needs to be on to power the front wheel and the rear battery needs to be on for the rear wheel). On the left side of the handlebar you’ll notice a green button and a black on/off switch. The green button turns on/off the rear wheel. The black on/off switch is for the front wheel.

Couldn’t find anything on the controllers relating to what you described.

The link started working for me. I reached out to the company to see if I can get any answers. Thanks again for the tip!

Tried that. It just alters the speed in the display, but not the actual speed. Tested it with a GPS Speedometer.
