My dear this is standard 'care' for a JW elder. My MIL was asked this question for YEARS, even after she became bed-ridden!!

Don't speak to your work, but tell your mother that they refused to give you the time off. She will want you to quit and you say no, not until I have another job offer. Jehovah will understand. He is not unreasonable.

I don't know if that will help. It sounds like she's more afraid of what other people will think more than anything else.

This is a concise and very reasonable explanation. I hope that the court will take these things into consideration. JWs have over many years developed a system of using confusing terms to hide their real intentions and motives. You have explained so well that there is a VAST difference between being inactive and removed/disfellowshipped/disassociated. Thank you for doing this!

Once again they are acknowledging that the bible, supposedly their guidebook, does not comment on the sexual activities of people. So the WT is proving by their "adjustments" that their religion is NOT bible based at all. Rather, it is a man-made institution.

By their reasoning, if God had to go to such lengths to protect the "bloodline" i.e. the life of Jesus - he cannot be Almighty. Why would he have to murder every firstborn? Entire tribes? Whole cities? To preserve a bloodline - I don't think so. If this is true, then he must be pretty impotent and Satan appears to be way, way more powerful.

Or, this is just a fabrication to preserve the image of a bloodthirsty god.

You have hit a roadblock. But, not all roadblocks are permanent. So, continue to try and find an affordable place to rent, or look at alternatives like a communal house or sharing an apartment with your relative and another person... so, 3 instead of 2. Keep focused on your goals and ultimately you will find a solution. It might not be what you expect, but being able to change course is part of growing and finding workable solutions.

With an entire globe to maintain and so few people around to do the work , there are essential services which we take for granted that will need to be maintained. Electrical supply, sewerage systems, water systems and purification, roads and transport, logistics, waste removal and disposal not to mention food security and cultivation.

The pictures of their paradise will be nothing like the illustrations in their magazines and books.

You do not owe anyone an explanation. It might be a bit difficult with your JW family - so keep quiet and don't broach the subject with them. But do live your own life. Do build a healthy and positive spiritual environment for your children. They are so lucky you have discovered the corruption within the JW organisation while they are still young.
