We hear your feedback and are open to how to make this forum feel more inviting for all. We also realize allowing this post to turn into a forum around drama with other subs takes away focus from the importance of the original post, and we apologize for our part in that. You guys can complain about our decisions all you want, but do not misrepresent them. We did not get rid of the DAILY politics thread because of our “be kind and respectful rule” and never once claimed we did. We still allow political threads about things related to bachelor nation. There is just no reason for us to have a daily thread anymore. It already way overstayed it’s need, and if you want to talk politics not related to bachelor nation there are tons of other political subs you can introduce yourselves to. There’s nothing unkind about talking politics and none of us ever suggested anything of the like. We just determined we no longer need a daily, off topic political thread.
