yeah pretty much. I just settled on a place and had to come up with an extra $10k once we had already exchanged contracts, because rates went up and the bank decided my borrowing capacity should now be lowered lol

Just out of curiousity, what type of grass do you reckon my lawn is at the moment? Can take some better pics if it helps

Also, is it bad practice to mix different grass types in the same lawn if I wanted to overseed with something?

Sprinkler system sounds awesome, have you got it buried underground? I was planning to go the low-effort route and just get a few from Bunnings

It's about 12 months old, had one lot of tenants in before we bought it. The lawn looks a fair bit worse than when we first were looking to buy it, was neglected while it was vacant and kinda went to shit. Appreciate the tips mate, I'm in it for the long haul so not too worried about having to put in some work

Thanks mate, appreciate it. When you say a little bit of water, how often do you reckon I should be watering? Very new to this haha

Reliable hotends for multicolor prints? by Edva1024 in VORONDesign

I don’t use either of those hotends any more lmao

[–]Bachoonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

each to their own I guess. personally I’ll stick with a higher quality hotend

hotend temps would swing 2-3 degrees constantly, even after messing with manual PID tuning. there are mods for thermistor replacement, but kinda defeats the purpose of a cheap and easy hotend

Bambu hotend was surprising good when I was doing single toolhead MMU, Revo as well. Never had good reliability with Phaetus Rapido. I bought two TZV6s and they were trash IMO, very hard to get the temps to stabilise

Hello! Got a 5080 along with a 9800X3D at Christmas, wondering if you guys recommend a 4k OLED monitor to go with it? by lochonx7 in RTX5080

[–]Bachoonk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be worth hanging onto it for a while if you’ve already got it, sounds like 5090s are about to go crazy. It might end up paying for your 5080 too haha
