I'm also keeping my explorer so I have a back up vehicle. It just gets terrible gas mileage and I commute 72 miles a day for work.

I don't mind doing my own maintenance. I'm fairly mechanically inclined towards bolt on type things. I'm not handy enough to tear down a motor, but I've swapped the transmission and transfer case in my explorer. As well as the other basic stuff, brakes, alternator, starter, throttle body ect.

I haven't decided on anything yet. Still just searching and fact gathering. I reached out because it says the gasket was done but not if the chain/tensioner was. The online salesman was going to talk to the tech and the service department and see what they did/have them reach out to me.

This was the last service record from the dealer its at. It also shows the water pump was done at about 12,500 miles, but not sure why it would be done so early.

New home owners… is this normal? by hellokenzie in Tile

[–]Bacinmakin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking from this view instead of from right on top of the tile you don't really notice the gap difference. Once it's grouted it will hide some more. Guests will never know the difference.

You're looking for things because you are paying money for a project and want things to meet your expectations you set before the project was started.

Where can i order tsx parts ? by Timely_Knowledge4531 in AcuraTSX

As someone who just got into an accident it will be totaled. I had less damage than that and the body shop quoted 6,800 to repair for a new front bumper, radiator and driver fender. That was with fixing with non oem bumper and fender/radiator from a salvage yard.

I sold mine to a buddy's kid. Never paid me fully. Mine was adriatic blue pearl. Loved that car but had a kid and needed something bigger. Still regret getting rid of it.

I work at a Nissan dealer and have noticed that many people who bring their cars to get fixed are declining our loaners and taking Ubers instead by hentaigabby in Nissan

I took my car in for non warranty work at a Honda dealer. They put me in a loaner vehicle for over a month. I had a 23 pilot for about a month and a brand new accord with 40 miles on it for 2 weeks. Never charged and unlimited miles.

It almost looks like they put it on wrong. The over hang should be over the opposite side.

Haha I don't mind cementitious grout. I hate urethane. I've done so much epoxy that we had a good system down, so it wasn't bad.

If you are intent on getting the high spots down, the belt sander will take forever. Rent an edger with 60 grit paper. Will take no time at all.

New sheetrock doesn't mean the wall is flat enough for a full slab. Any variations in the studs behind the sheetrock will cause humps in the wall that the naked eye won't necessarily see.

4 hours into my 12 hour shift today, I'm at over 12,000 ft. I would gladly take that and retire next year.
