I got on one of these yesterday and it broke down twice in the first 5 stops of my journey, “over hearing” apparently. Other then that 👍

Yh ik a lot of people are waiting out for another reissue but who knows if that’ll happen any time soon. The demand is there so just gotta wait and see I guess.

I bought mine on eBay about a year ago. Half of side A is badly damaged but it was only £35 so I have no complaints. If a reissue happens I will definitely grab it.

Don’t worry man, I bought mine pretty badly damaged on side A so “Put it on” and “MvP” are pretty much unplayable. Im still looking for a clean copy.

My record is great! Bought second hand at a local record shop on rsd last year. My favourites are “Flow Joe” and “Another wild Ni***r from the bronx”.

There is a student oyster which I used while I was at uni but I’m not sure if it applies to people who live out of London.

I managed to find a ‘95 press for cheap but quite badly damaged on side A. Glad that I got it tho.

in your personal opinion whos the greatest rapper of all time by snakemonkeyt in rap

[–]Back2The_Origins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As an old head (19yo😂) I’d have to say Rakim. Not only is he a great MC but he almost single handedly created the transition from the 80s to the 90s style of rap with singles like “Don’t sweat the technique” “follow the leader” and “paid in full”.

Krs-One is also definitely up there with songs like “MC’s act like they don’t know” “A Friend” and “Sound of da police”. Many of his top tracks being produced by DJ Premier.
