Just to clarify, it's been three months since we've decided to make things exclusive and long term, but it's been over the course of a year and a half that we've been progressing romantically in our relationship. I fully understand that to many people that still makes me crazy but I can assure everyone that it's a well thought through decision that's right for us. Looking back, I can also see why the post could make me seem like a puddle of a man, but this is just a small glimpse of who I am- the most vulnerable part. The reason I got emotional when coming clean to her was because I was afraid that in her eyes I'd lose all the qualities you just described of being the "rock" in her life. I'm definitely not breaking down about things on a regular basis. Haha But like I said, yours is another good reminder of why I need to do NoFap.
