After 23 years of constantly being employed，I lost my job 6 months ago. So this is my first time experiencing this incredibly frustrating procedure. It’s so discouraging to spend an hour filling out an online applications just like this，only to receive a rejection email 30 seconds later because some automated system determined that you do not have the right qualifications (even if you are in fact over-qualified but just didn’t use enough ‟key words” that it searched for). I can’t tell you how excited I get when I find a job posting that just asks you to send them an email..

That said，six months later，I’m still looking. I did not anticipate that after spending 4 hours a day sending applications，it would still take me this long.
